When I first came to Alternacare I was over 200 lbs, didn’t sleep at night, had no energy throughout the day and could not lose weight (even though I ate healthy and exercised).

After a few weeks of following Dr. Rob’s instructions my energy increased and I was able to sleep at night.  He thoroughly explained the results of each test which helped me to understand why my body and I have been battling against each other for so many years.

When we began to work on my weight the results were amazing.  Everything seemed to come together; peaceful sleep, energy and weight loss.

It’s been 2 months since I achieved my weight goal of 165lbs and the results are still in effect.  I am maintaining my weight, sleeping well and am full of energy.

I came to Alternacare with a multitude of medical issues. My cardiologist asked me to consider lap band procedure to lose weight. My Endocrinologist wanted to put me on an insulin pump. I was taking 8 shots a day (3 types of insulin). I was having hot flashes all the time.  I received a brochure in the mail inviting me to take a workshop at Alternacare.

I would like to say when I first came to Alternacare my sugar was in the 300’s. It’s now completely normal. My blood pressure is now in normal ranges. I have lost weight and I have so much more energy. Next month I’m having blood work done to check my cholesterol and triglycerides levels which have been very high. To have a successful outcome with Alternacare one needs only to follow the prescribed plan of action. Take those supplements religiously and follow the diet plan! It’s as simple as that.

When I came Alternacare I was having problems with my weight, I was 154 lbs. On top of the weight issues I suffered from a hiatal hernia, which caused me to constantly throw up, as well as experience terrible heartburn. I felt very defeated and not good about myself, and that I was never going to lose weight. It was also difficult to not hurt all the time, having a hernia. I had tried several other diets, worked out excessively, 3 x week for one year, and could never get lower than 142 lbs.

After just a short time, all of my symptoms have improved! I am down to 129 lbs, LOST 25 POUNDS. I accomplished something that I felt, since I was 25 years old, wasn’t possible again for me to do! My whole self image has improved!

Hi, I am thrilled to report that after only two months I feel great.  This story begins with me arriving at the center, exhausted and with joint pain so sore that I was constantly rubbing my elbows and knees.  At age 45 I felt like moving around was just too difficult.  I was not sure how I’d keep working if the pain got any worse.

After meeting with Chuck and then my doctor, I felt like my wellbeing was truly their own interest.  I used the supplements and with two weeks I felt the positive results.  The approach at Alternacare is to get you well and on your way.  I am continuing with the supplements and at this point feel like I could run again, or even play tennis.

When you asked me to write my success story I wasn’t exactly sure what I would say.  Taking these vitamins certainly has helped me but not like I expected.  Let me explain.

Before the vitamins I was “down in the dumps” almost every day.  I woke up feeling exhausted – body, mind and spirit.  My body felt heavy.  My mind felt like I was up all night doing math problems instead of sleeping.  My spirit was crushed and hopeless.  I really felt like the world was a dark place.  During the day people would constantly say, “Melissa, smile.  It’s not that bad.”  This would just infuriate me.  I didn’t feel like smiling!

I was too tired to smile!  I was also too tired to talk so I avoided people as much as I could.  I wouldn’t even call or talk to my friends who have been in my life for years.  I just didn’t have the energy or desire.

I was married last year.  Since then the marriage has been difficult.  I have been very snappy and distant with my husband.  I was just too tired to carry on a conversation. When he would try to talk with me I just snapped or took things he said way too personal and it ended with us fighting.  I always blamed my ever-changing moods on hormones.  I had two children back to back and figured my hormone levels just hadn’t balanced out yet.

My mom suggested I at least fill out the survey and talk with you.  So I did.

When I first started taking the vitamins I expected a surge within and then a high of some sort.  That wasn’t the case though.  Instead I started gradually noticing things here and there.  Weeks went by and I hadn’t said “I’m tired.” I didn’t wake up feeling heavy.  I was practically jumping out of bed and excited to start my day.  My brain felt rested and no longer in a fog.  I also started feeling like life had so many possibilities and I could do anything I wanted!  My husband and I had more conversations and actually laughed again!  Then I noticed a glow to my skin.  Even the dark circles under my eyes decreased!  Then I started talking to people.  I have actually been friendly with my co-workers and super market attendants!  I talk to anyone now!  I feel like I have confidence.  I feel like my body has been

restored!!!

I’m not 100% yet but I’m certainly getting there…………..Overall though, I feel great!

Part 2 of that story….because I have so much energy (not the kind coffee gives you) I have taken on a great deal of new responsibilities at work.  I am now in charge of planning our Christmas party in 2012 (consisting of 995 people), I am getting my A+ certification and then taking additional computer training classes.  I feel like the sky is the limit right now!  I don’t feel overwhelmed or stressed.  I’m excited!  I am looking forward to

I brought my son to Alternacare after he was sent home from Pre-K for being defiant, disruptive and aggressive.  My husband and I felt like we had done everything to help with his behavior from using a number of discipline techniques, to changing his diet and even having him evaluated by a child psychologist.  After the first week of treatment, we couldn’t believe the difference we saw in our son.  He was calmer, more compliant than he had ever been and less aggressive.

Now he seems happy, friendly and affectionate.  His outbursts are few and far between (and usually brought on by a diet infraction or missed dose) and he usually apologizes for his behavior.

A few weeks ago, he sad to me, “mommy, I love you, I love myself, and I’m happy”.  That is truly amazing coming from my five year old.  Thank you Dr. Rob and staff for helping our little boy!

Dear Dr. Rob and Team:

I just wanted to let you know how much you have helped enhance the lives of my family. Kahlil was having quite a bit of trouble with his temper and other physical things that I had no idea existed until we came to Alternacare. Being a teenager, Kahil is 15, it was odd that he was having all of the symptoms of an aging man. Gray hair, achey and hurting joints and a short temper. Dr. Rob diagnosed Kahlil with exhausted adrenals (WOW!) He put him on a supplementation program and we began to see results in about a weeks time. He is doing so much better! The gray hair is starting to leave, when they fall out or are cut no new ones grow back and his disposition is a total 180. He is so much more cooperative and laid back. His joints rarely ache or hurt anymore and he is quite athletic. He is a happy, well adjusted teen. It really is quite amazing. I just want to thank Dr. Rob and his team at Alternacare for all the care, cooperation and empathy they showed us while Kahlil was under treatment.

“Incredible Story”

Hi, my name is Kahlil Dotson I am 15 and I was one of Dr. Rob’s patients. I started working with Doctor Rob late last year, 2011, when I first meet doctor Rob I had bad ankle and knee joints that would pop all the time, I had mood swings, and I had grey hairs. With all this I thought I was just going to be stuck like that forever but to my surprise; a week after my first visit when I was prescribed supplements I noticed an improvement: me and my mom didn’t argue at all, my joints weren’t cracking as much and my grey hairs were fading back to black. I felt awesome. After a few more visits and getting a couple new medicines, I felt like I made a complete recovery I felt brand new instead of tired and sore all the time.
