I started seeing Dr. Rob about 2 months ago. I had not been feeling well for a couple of years and the medical community did not fix me even though I had spent thousands. I got so tired of being sick and tired that I said that is it, I’m going to do something about it. The truth is, I could not do the will of God because my body was hindering me and I knew it. I had worked for years getting my spirit strong and my soul clean of past issues but that body just wasn’t lining up!
Anyway, after being on a program for 6 weeks now, I feel better than I have in I can’t remember how long. I no longer have migraines, dizziness, hormone issues, pain all over my body, sleeplessness and the list goes on. I feel more calm, balanced, mentally alert and my energy is returning more each week. Praise the Lord! It’s like I am born again, again! I am so gratefully that you both went and brought the wisdom back to the body of Christ. We are going to get Mike tested next and I can’t wait for him to feeling good as well. I’ve been telling everyone about it too in hopes of helping others.
Here is a nugget that I have learned thus far: Change takes commitment and I am finding that many are not committed to longevity and just want an instant miracle. God can and does do instant miracles as we both know but it’s about living long to do the complete will of God and being a good steward of your soul, spirit and body. Let me say, I am in it for the long haul and I recognized that I needed to change in order to do the will of God.
So my friends, thank you so much for passing the good word along. I have asked the Lord to bless you greatly for it!

For many years I have fought the weight battle, more recently I began tofight the battle of depression, headache, PMS and body and joint pain. When I first walked into Alternacare, I was a total mess. My joints ached, I was always tired because I always woke up six to eight times a night, I did not go to the bathroom regularly, I was having trouble breathing even when I was not doing anything, and I was 25 pounds overweight. I suffered for years with sleeping problems. I used to wake up daily @ 3 AM. On top of that, I suffered with achiness all over, and stayed fatigued all the time. I had enough energy to go to work and that was it!
I also suffered with heart palpitations and had very little motion in my arms.
If this wasn’t enough, I have been diagnosed as a diabetic, along with having high blood pressure and high cholesterol. I felt like my body was in a constant state of stress, not to mention being overweight.
I had been seeing my primary doctors to address the issues, but all they would do is give me medication.

On top of all this, I went down in my pants size, which I struggled with my weight for the last 4 years!

I began coming to “Alternacare Health and Rehab” in July 2004. A friend, who had listened to my complaints of migraines, neck, shoulder and back pains and difficulties with my TMJ, referred me to this clinic. As a teacher, my stress level was very high and my body had felt the impact of that stress since my youngest child had been born six years ago. I took headache medications, all the brands of “PM” pills and even had a few muscle relaxers, at times. I thought our mattress was to blame since my symptoms returned each night. The TMJ problem caused my jaw to click and lock almost daily. I bought an over the counter mouth guard to help sleep with, in hopes of stopping the grinding or clinching of my teeth.
After only nine adjustments, I was symptom free! I feel great! After, seeing how the treatments work so well, I have had my three children start treatment. I am looking forward to a winter with no visits to the pediatrician for ADHD, tummy aches, colds, leg cramps, or constant nosebleeds.
On many days, I still have stress as a teacher, but my body handles it much better now that I have my spine aligned and not pinching those precious nerves that need to tell my body how to respond.
I feel wonderful, and by the way, I didn’t even need to buy a new mattress!

I started corning into "Alternacare Physical Medicine and Rehab" because I had a very stiff neck that would cause me to have horrible headaches. The headaches would cause a tight pain in the back of my head. I was unable to sleep well at night because of my stiff neck. It was very hard for me to get comfortable and then I would toss and turn all night. When I would wake up in the morning I would have a headache, but as the day went on the headache would get horrible. The headaches would get so bad that even light and sounds were unbearable at times. I had to take 1 to 2 Excedrin a day and that would hardly help the headache.
I had suffered with my headaches for a year and a half before I started care at Alternacare Physical Medicine and Rehab". I was very skeptical of chiropractic care. I honestly didn’t even want to come, but I thought that I would try anything to get better.
After my first treatment at “Alternacare Physical Medicine and Rehab", I was headache free. The headache I had that day was immediately gone, and I have been headache free from that day on. I was very impressed and shocked that the care I received worked so well and fast. I went from being a non-believer in chiropractic care to being a 100% believer. I can not imagine living my life and still having the headaches that I had. I am very glad that I gave chiropractic care a chance.

I came to Dr. Poli with fatigue, headaches, weight gain, sugar cravings and sleep problems. I couldn’t sleep through the night and woke up tired everyday and went to bed tired everyday. Generally, I experienced a headache everyday and had excessive cravings for sugar. On top of that, I had gained 25 pounds in less than a year. Basically I didn’t have the energy to do much but make it through my day. I spent many weekends sleeping excessively to catch up on the sleep I had lost, trying to build up my energy.
After my 3rd visit with Dr. Poli, I have lost 9 pounds and I’m beginning to sleep through the night more frequently. When I first came to Dr. Debease, I felt all hope and energy level was impossible. I am a dialysis patient and it had taken a toll on me. I had no energy, but since I started Alternacare, my energy level has just improved greatly and I don’t have headaches anymore. So, I would encourage anyone, don’t just settle for and take your medical doctor’s word as the last option. I am not saying don’t see your medical doctor, but seek other options. It works and I am glad I did.

I am very happy because in two weeks of treatments, I no longer have headaches, and my leg pain has gotten better. I am able sleep through the night. When I first came to Alternacare I was tired, overweight, couldn’t sleep well, had food cravings, had very low energy, I could get out of breath easily. Life was just very uncomfortable for me. I also was bloated and had swollen ankles.
Since beginning my appointments about three months ago I’ve lost weight, I started at two hundred and twenty-six pounds and now I am at two hundred and eight pounds. I no longer have swollen ankles or bloating. The severe mucous and drainage has stopped. The migraines I used to get are very rare. Now a good night’s rest is no longer a stranger to me. My energy level has increased tremendously, to the point where an afternoon nap is no longer necessary. Light exercise is something to look forward to rather than something that drained what little energy I had. Food cravings are gone. I’m feeling like a new person who enjoys eating, living and has general sense of well-being.

I started coming into "Alternacare Physical Medicine and Rehab" because I had severe headaches, as well as neck, shoulder, and back pains. I had suffered with the headaches for 3 months before I started care. The headaches would be so bad that it would hurt for me to move my head. When I was suffering from a horrible headache it would be so bad that even my eyes would burn. I would have a headache all day every day. My neck, shoulder, and back had been bothering me for 4 years before I started my care at this clinic. My neck stayed stiff, and hurt when I would turn my head in any direction. My shoulder would ache and hurt when I tried to move my arm at all. My back had a constant ache in it that made my daily activities unbearable. I was not able to sleep at night because of all the pain. If I was lucky enough to fall asleep I was only able to sleep for a short period of time before I would wake up with pain.
I went to my primary care Doctor and was told that I had arthritis and biarthritis. I was given medicine to take, and was told that it was all that would help with the neck and shoulder pain. I would have to take at least 2 or 3 pain pills a day. I would try to go as long as I could in between pain pills, but when the pains got to be so bad I would have to take something.
After 2 weeks of treatment at "Alternacare Physical Medicine and Rehab" I was headache free. I had spent 3 months of having a headache every day to not having one since. After a month of treatment, my neck, shoulder, and back pains were gone as well. I can move my neck, shoulder, and arm now without any pain. I am able to go and do activities that I have not been able to do in a while, and be pain free when 1 am doing them. I am able to sleep better at night which makes my days much better. I was very leery of chiropractic care when I started treatment, but I am amazed at the results that I have gotten. I think that chiropractic care is wonderful, and I wish that I had started it years ago.

For the past 6 years I’ve suffered with headaches, continual moodiness and tiredness.
As a mom, I never had enough energy to play with my kids after working all day. I would actually want my kids to stay in daycare just so I could go home and sleep.
I would have migraines at least once a month, but I would keep a constant, nagging headache every single day.
I suffered with complete exhaustion!
I thought, “I am going to die!” I had been to my regular doctor, as well as neurologists and several other doctors, who put me on all kinds of headache medicines and anti-depressants. I always felt so fatigued even the days I didn’t have a headache.

Later that night I was doing exercises with my 2 year old on the bed and my husband asked if I was on Acid because I had so much energy!I Never had the energy to do anything before, but now I can play with my kids and feel good again!

When I first came to Alternacare, I was having headaches daily and taking way too many painkillers. After a series of adjustments by Dr. Poli, my headaches are gone! I was also having problems with pain in my left knee. Dr. Poli determined that my right ankle was the problem. He adjusted it and my left knee stopped hurting. I was very glad to avoid cortisone injections. I’m also down one clothing size so far! YEAH!
