When I first came to Alternacare I was in doubt, but three weeks later I saw it working for me. I began to feel better about it. When I saw the pounds coming off then I begin to work harder on making mental adjustments.
My experience has been a very positive one. When I first came, I really didn’t know what to expect. I have been educated on how the body works, which has helped me to understand my care that I am receiving. The workshops are great to help with that.I had so many problems. I was hormonal, tired all the time, could not sleep through the night, hot flashes, depressed, and aches and pains in my joints. With feeling and questions of WHAT DO I DO TO GET BETTER? I feel I have found the answer.
After seven days on my program, I have lost eight pounds, my energy is improving, I sleep though the night, my vision is better and my joint pain is better. I am so excited about getting well. Now I have hope. One day at a time.

I started coming into “Alternacare Physical Medicine and Rehab" because of my high cholesterol, as I had suffered with it for many years. I also had pain from my head to my toes. I had a lot of stress in my life, and that caused my whole body to ache. I would have constant burning pains in my neck and shoulders. I had suffered with those pains for 6 months before I started my care. My hip had given me problems for 7 years. I had been told that my hip pain was from scar tissue and the only way to make it better was to have surgery to take it out. I had problems with my knees as well. I could not put any pressure on them or bend them without incredible pain. I had problems with my eyes too. They were always dry and itchy. I had tried every kind of eye drops and nothing worked at all. I went to other doctors before I started coming into this clinic. All that they would give me was medicine and I am not a medicine taker. I would take it at night just so that I could sleep, but I would suffer through the day with the pain.
I had been under care at “Alternacare Physical Medicine and Rehab" for only 2 weeks before I started to feel much better. I felt like I had a new body that was pain free. All my pains were a lot better if not gone. My eyes were completely back to normal. I was able to stand and bend without my knees hurting. I have had my cholesterol checked many times since I started care, and it has been back down to normal range from the extremely high range it was in before I started care.
I think that the care at Alternacare is great. I think that the combination of chiropractic care, massage therapy, and stretching therapy is very beneficial. I think that holistic care is absolutely amazing. I would much rather use a holistic health care method to fix a problem than to just take pain pills to ease the pain.
